Panama Is About to Make Its Best Visa Even Better

Oct 24, 2025 12:26 pm

Hey everyone,

I'm currently travelling through Central Asia and wanted to take a quick minute to make sure you saw this piece of news.

Panama's National Assembly has passed a bill that will signify a major upgrade to its Qualified Investor Visa.

My clients and those in our paid membership programs heard about this back in August, when I first learned of the legislation from a trusted source.

Now that the bill has passed and requires only the signature of President José Raúl Mulino, it should be nothing more than a formality.

I encourage you to read this article and learn about this coming change, which will only make Panama's Qualified Investor Visa even more attractive to those building an offshore Plan-B.

Speak soon,

Mikkel

PS. Next Thursday, I'll be landing in Prague, where I'll be speaking at the Free Cities Conference. Prior to the event, I'll be hosting a meetup; if you'd like to swing by, just RSVP here and we'll send you all the details. And if you want to attend the conference, use the coupon code EXPAT for a discount on your ticket over at https://freecitiesconference.com/. I hope to see you there!
