Javier Milei Just Declared War On The 2030 Agenda

Sep 29, 2025 12:07 pm

This week, Argentinian President Javier Milei stood before the United Nations and did something almost no world leader has the courage to do:

He called out the globalist elites to their faces.

World leaders assembled at the UN to discuss the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, yet another initiative aimed at compelling nations to adhere to specific economic, social, and environmental standards by 2030.

And if you know Milei, you know he wasn’t going to bend the knee.

In typical Milei fashion, he didn’t mince words:

Argentina is straying from the 2030 Agenda; it is a waste of resources for purposes we do not share.

He’s right.

The truth is, this so-called “sustainability” agenda is nothing but a Trojan horse for global regulation, wealth redistribution, and top-down control dressed up in mealy-mouthed buzzwords.

The 2030 Agenda is designed to undermine national sovereignty, centralize power, and bury countries like Argentina in red tape and dependency.

Argentina is drawing a line and pulling back from the same system that’s tightening its grip on the West.

The same system that seeks to control your wealth, track your movements, and trade your freedom for security theatre.

And Milei’s message is clear: there’s no reforming this beast.

It needs to be rejected wholesale.

He even called on other free nations to join him in building a “new agenda” that respects sovereignty, free markets, and self-determination.

Javier Milei isn’t perfect by any means and has his critics even in our own space, but moves like this are why I continue to support what he’s doing on the global stage.

I don’t get involved in every internal debate, but when a world leader gets on stage and speaks the truth? I’ll always respect that.

Argentina is one of the countries I get asked about most—especially with the launch of their new $500,000 Citizenship by Investment program. And let’s be honest: Milei is a big reason why.

While I don’t recommend the country for residency just yet, the CBI is intriguing. If Milei stays the course, it certainly might be a place to consider for a Plan-B residency down the road.

We’ll have all the latest on Argentina’s residency and citizenship programs at the Expat Money Online Summit 2025: The Future is Latin America, now less than two weeks away from October 10-12.

I hope to see you there.

Speak soon,

Mikkel

PS. The Expat Money Online Summit 2025 is completely free to attend, though it is a very expensive event to put together. I am hosting this event as a resource for people who are looking to dive in and learn more about how to build a Plan-B. This year, we have hyper-focused on the region where the vast majority of my Private Clients have been investing in and moving to: Latin America. This is the one online event of the year you simply cannot afford to miss. Reserve your complimentary ticket here.
