I've worked with dozens of CPAs over the years...

And one thing I have learned is that a good accountant is worth their weight in gold.

It's always funny to me when people try to nickel and dime the fees paid to a CPA or shop around to find the cheapest CPA available.

It would be like trying to choose a surgeon based on how much they cost, instead of looking at their experience and expertise, basically engaging the specialist who charges the least.

Not a smart way to do business...

Saying all of that, not all CPAs have the same experience. You need to make sure when you go offshore you are working with someone who specializes in this exact field.

I can tell you it is different from any other type of taxation law, and if mistakes are made with compliance, it can be very costly in fines and fees.
