So, recently I had a subscriber comment to me that there have been fewer email newsletters lately and a day later a private client asked if we could take a consultation call on a Sunday.

These days I am really being strict about keeping business hours, this means no work on the weekends and nothing past 6 pm.

You see, one of the best asset protection strategies is to have a healthy marriage.

So many men and women have problems in their lives because they put work before their significant other. I’ve only been married for 7 years but we are going strong, still, to this date, I am proud to say we have never had a fight. 

There is no way I am going to let life pass me by and sacrifice everything for work at the cost of my marriage (or the relationship with my children). 

I think this is actually one of the best business decisions I have ever made, and even more than that, one of the best wealth accumulation decisions I have ever made.

There is nothing more destructive to wealth than an ugly divorce. The only ones to profit are the lawyers in the middle.

Being purposeful about things like this will save you more than just heartache, it’s going to keep your wealth intact. 

So, going back to why there are fewer emails lately is because there are some substantial things going on…

We have my birthday party coming up this weekend with people from the Expat Money Community flying in from all over the globe.

Sorry, there are no more seats left for the event, we already had to stretch the booking to the max and then exceeded it by fifty percent just to fit everyone in.

Adding to what we have going on, my team and I have written a new series of books for helping expats to move overseas, these will be coming out over the next several months.

And of course, with the totalitarian rule happening in Canada and now an invasion in Europe, my services are massively in demand. 

Anyways, to bring things full circle, I do intend to be doing daily emails, but at the same time, if it’s past 6 pm or on the weekend then it doesn’t get done. 

I am in a very fortunate financial position that I can be strict on these things, and by thinking ahead about my marriage, will always KEEP me in this strong financial position.
