UK Protest Goes Viral. But Will Anything Change?
Sep 19, 2025 12:11 pm
Last weekend, British citizens took to the streets for the “Unite the Kingdom” rally in London.
Depending on who you get your news from, it was either tens of thousands or potentially millions…
The leader of the movement, activist Tommy Robinson, is now calling it the “biggest protest” in British history.
It certainly managed to capture the attention of the media, at least, especially when Elon Musk made a video appearance on-screen to support the attendees' cause.
But here’s what the media won’t say…
There wasn’t just one reason people were marching.
It wasn’t just about immigration. Or taxes. Or even censorship…
It was about control.
The slow, suffocating loss of liberty that’s been building in Britain for years.
If you’ve been a reader of mine for even a brief time, you’ve seen example after example of how the British government has continually restricted civil liberties, particularly when it comes to free speech.
In 2024, a woman was arrested and jailed for several days for sharing a post on X regarding the murder of three local women, allegedly by a recent migrant.
Just this month, a comedian in the UK was arrested for making a post on X deemed politically incorrect.
Sadly, a simple Google search will show you many other examples if you want to dive into that rabbit hole.
The signs have been clear for some time now, especially with the massive exodus of high-net-worth individuals who’ve had enough.
It isn’t much of a secret either.
In August, the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase released a commercial poking fun at the state of the UK, highlighting the erosion of the middle class and the plight of working people.
I genuinely feel for those who feel stuck, as if they have no options.
But the truth is, they do.
There are better, smarter and more practical moves available…for those willing to act.
Despite the considerable time, energy, and resources invested in this and other protests and political campaigns, the complaints continue to fall on deaf ears.
So let me ask you…
What if all that effort went into building a life that couldn’t be cancelled by politics?
What if they had a Plan-B in place, designed to protect them from government backlash?
Because here’s the truth:
A solid Plan-B is the only insurance policy that works in a world this unpredictable.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t speak up. Or vote. Or challenge the system.
But don’t kid yourself…
Those efforts are Hail Marys.
A Plan-B is what gives you the higher ground from which to fight.
If you’re tired and fearful of the direction your home country is headed, I strongly recommend reading this important letter.
Speak soon,
Mikkel
