You’re Safer in Latin America Than Socialist Europe
May 09, 2025 12:21 pm
If you still think Europe is your safest bet for a Plan-B, have a look at this disturbing report out of Spain.
According to Spain’s Ministry of the Interior, rape cases have tripled in just five years.
In 2024 alone, over 5,206 rapes were reported in Spain, an average of one every 105 minutes.
Catalonia, one of Spain’s most populated regions, revealed a disturbing truth: 91% of those convicted of rape were foreign nationals, despite illegal immigrants making up just 17% of the population.
That’s not just a crime wave, it’s a system failure.
While the media pushes mass migration as “compassionate,” the reality on the ground tells another story: crime is up, women are less safe, and law enforcement is overwhelmed.
And let’s not pretend this is isolated to Spain.
The UK, France, Germany - the whole continent is seeing similar patterns.
Europe’s “safe and civilized” image is eroding faster than politicians can draft another immigration bill.
But what if I told you that the real safety now lies in South America?
I know mainstream narratives say the region is all cartels and chaos. But I’ve spent years living and investing in Latin America, and the reality couldn’t be more different.
Countries like Paraguay, Uruguay, El Salvador and Argentina have become some of the safest countries in the region. These are not failed states, they’re rising stars.
In Paraguay, crime is low, and people are kind and grounded.
In Uruguay, political stability, a strong middle class, and the rule of law make it one of the safest places on the continent.
Even Colombia, long written off, has transformed dramatically.
Across the board, crime is down, infrastructure is up, and expat communities are thriving.
And my current home, Panama, has one of the lowest crime rates in Latin America, even beating out the US and France, according to World Population Review.
Latin America is full of countries that are not only safer than you think, but quite possibly safer than the “first world” country you call home.
