If you wanted to buy a passport, this might be the time
Oct 28, 2023 12:59 pm
I have spent the last two days with my friend and colleague Laszlo, who does all the citizenship by investment cases for my client.
In our long conversations, we both agree that the citizenship programs in the Caribbean are under serious threat of closure.
We also agree that when you weigh the price point, timeline, and value of the passport, the St Lucia donation is the best option on the table right now:
- You get 147 countries visa-free travel.
- $141,750 USD all in for a single applicant (= $100k donation + legal fees + DD fees, everything included in this price, no surprises)
- Timeline: roughly 4 months.
If you have been sitting on the fence about purchasing a citizenship in the Caribbean, I would say this is your last best chance at getting it done.
Three things to keep in mind:
- You have to be willing to spend the money and understand it is a donation
- You have to have a clean criminal record
- You have to have a primary passport from your home country
Next Steps:
If you want to discuss getting a St Lucia citizenship with the team I work with or to get a quote for your complete family, then send an email to:
- expat@discusholdings.com
- Include how many people in your family you want in the application (additional family members cost additional fees from the government)
- Include a photo of your passport to do an internal due diligence check.
This might be a now-or-never scenario.
Hope this is useful to you,
Mikkel
