Adventures Going To And From The Liberty In Our Lifetime Conference
Nov 22, 2023 12:23 pm
In today’s episode, I am going to detail the recent trip that I made to Prague via Costa Rica, via Germany, and then on the way back through Turkey, Cuba, and then back to Panama. It was quite an adventure. And hopefully, there will be some suitable lessons in this one for you on what to do and what not to do when travelling abroad. Enjoy!

TODAY'S EPISODE ON MY ADVENTURES TO AND FROM THE LIBERTY IN OUR LIFETIME CONFERENCE
- Listen to me let off some steam about my air travel woes, starting with the longest walk in airport history in Germany!
- Hear why some fellow conference attendees were a little weirded about by our supposedly “masonic” hotel.
- I discuss how I got to meet in person to plan the future of international cities - as discussed in last week’s episode - in my new advisory role on the board of Tipolis.
- Long-time listeners will get a real trip down memory lane with all the past podcast guests I got to meet while in Prague. It was really an all-star Expat Money lineup!
- Hear about the presentations I gave, including the speech I gave on the often-overlooked emotional aspect of moving abroad.
- If you thought my travel woes ended with my transfer through Germany, you’ll be blown away when you hear about the real drama that began as I departed via Turkey.
- Listen to how I wrapped up a loose end on my quest for a Turkish passport in what I hope will finally seal the deal. Be sure to check out my episode on Turkey for the backstory!
- Did you really think the travel woes ended there? You will not believe what I dealt with on the last leg of my journey through Cuba. Seriously, this was just unreal!

I hope you enjoyed my little recap of my travels to and from Prague for this amazing Liberty in Our Lifetime conference.
I never try to glorify things when I relay my experiences, and as you can tell, international travel isn’t always a walk in the park.
This trip certainly had its low points, but in the end, it’s all a part of the adventure, and I’m certain you can take a few tips from my experiences. See you all next week!

Mikkel
