Dear Reader,

My wife and I watched "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings," at the theatres the other day in 4D.

Before I tell you how awesome it was, I wanted to share something from the expat side...

The movie was an amazing combination of languages and cultures that really fit my family.

In the movie, they speak about 50/50 Mandarin and English, but because we are in Panama everything has only Spanish subtitles...

I could understand around 20% of the spoken Mandarin and read maybe 50% of the Spanish subtitles, but for things I didn't understand, my wife would have to translate the Chinese back to English for me.

For my family this is an everyday occurrence, always conversing and discussing things in multiple languages and understanding different cultures, and as I have more and more to do with Brazil, Portuguese is earning a greater seat at the table.

The world is a big place and I constantly feel blessed to have an international family, be travelling the world, and live as an expat. My hope, and what this newsletter is really about, is to help you with the same.

Anyways the movie was fantastic, especially in 4D, they really did an incredible job. I have been studying Disney's business model for over a decade and I am constantly impressed with their ability to innovate and wow their customers.
