Breaking: Argentina’s New Citizenship Program Is A Game-Changer
Aug 01, 2025 11:21 am
Holy cow, they are actually doing it.
Argentina has just announced a game-changing, golden opportunity for expats in the form of their brand-new Citizenship by Investment program.
We had discussed rumours of a potential CBI program on this past week’s episode of The Expat Money Show, and now it’s a reality.
This was just announced yesterday afternoon, and my team immediately got to work on finding all the relevant information about the program.
The deal is pretty straightforward: invest $500,000 USD into the country, and you can apply directly for Argentine citizenship.
There’s no residency requirement, no waiting period.
This is a clean, fast-track route to a powerful new passport, one which grants visa-free travel to 172 countries, including the Schengen Area.
Ever since vocal libertarian Javier Milei was elected President, I’ve had excited, freedom-minded people coming to me asking about Argentina as part of their Plan-B.
Up until now, I’ve had to tell them to wait and see.
Well, it’s safe to say the waiting is just about over.
If the full program is implemented as planned, this will be, hands down, the best citizenship program in the world.
I highly recommend reading our full breakdown of the program’s announcement.
Speak soon,
Mikkel
