It's no secret that my style of investing takes guts.

Most people prefer to give away responsibility and power instead of standing up, learning how to do something, and taking ownership of it.

We see this with traditional financial planning industries: you're supposed to "trust the experts" and follow what they prescribe because they want you to believe you are not smart enough to understand what is best for your wealth.

I disagree with this sentiment.
