My wife will kill me if look...

I’m travelling with a group of friends in the countryside in Antioquia, Colombia right now.
We rented 3 cars and have been exploring the old towns all through the region, which has been absolutely stunning.
We moved from one town to another but yesterday we couldn’t all book in the same hotel. We decided to do the drive anyways and sort it out when we arrived.
When we got to town we pulled out our phones to search for nearby places to stay.
There was one called Luxury Hotel, we looked at the pictures online at it looked very pretty; new beds, beautiful lighting, modern.
We were pretty impressed and excited with our find.
It was around 6 blocks away so my wife and I left the kids with the nanny so we could go get checked in.
When we arrived we realized something was not quite right…
My wife rang the doorbell and we waited for someone to come and help us.
A couple of minutes passed, and eventually, some woman’s voice could be heard through the closed door.
¿Qué quieres?
What do you want?
I explained we needed a room for the night. She opens the door in her underwear looking like she has been up partying all night.
It’s around 3 o’clock in the afternoon...
Not trying to be rude but I suspect she was also a prostitute.
I don’t have any problem with someone if that is their chosen vocation, it’s certainly none of my business.
But maybe it is not nice for welcoming guests to the hotel.
By this point, we are ready to run in the other direction but to save face we agree to quickly view the room, she is still in her underwear by the way...
The rooms look straight out of a movie of a crack den.
Yeah, I don’t think so.
We get out of there and eventually do find a very pretty place in the center square of the town.
It got me thinking, you really can’t trust what you see online. The pictures of this place told one story, but the reality was something completely different.
It’s the same in the crypto world, you will see one thing online with their marketing and website but behind the sense, it’s a complete crack den of a project.
You really have to be careful where you get your information. At the moment I am travelling through Colombia with my dear friend Marco Wutzer who manages more than a hundred million dollars in his crypto hedge fund.
That’s where I am getting my intel from, not some random source online.
If you would like to look over his shoulder and see what he’s investing his money in, then I invite you to subscribe below to his paid newsletter, I am a member and am constantly impressed with the insights inside.
He told me at dinner 2 nights ago that he has a big update coming out soon, something you will not want to miss.

Where you get your information from matters.
