Well, our Expat Party last night totally broke the software we used!

So many people were fighting to get in at the same time that we totally overwhelmed their servers, and everything crashed and wouldn't run.

Sorry if you tried to get in and couldn't. The company promised the software was robust and we would be fine. Maybe they underestimated how big our expat community is and how many people would be trying to get into the room at the same time.

Now I get the fun job of arguing with the company that hosted the event and try to get back at least part of the $2,000 I spent on the hosting.

Wish me luck lol...

I will say that after about 40 minutes things eventually calmed down, and I was able to have some really great conversations with attendees from all over the world; so that was amazing.

Well, that's it; the Summit is over for 2022. I feel like I could sleep for a week.
