I remember about 18 months ago; I warned people that Panama would change their visa process and everyone should secure their residence while they could. 

Well, on August 6th of last year, Panama did just that. It went from a $5,000 bank deposit that needed to be held there for 1 month to a $200,000 real estate investment that needed to be held for a minimum of 3 years. 

What a big difference!

Even yesterday on a call with a Private Client, they told me they wish they had listened to my advice and secured Panama residency when they had the chance.
