I recently got a question from one of my subscribers, and honestly, this comes up almost daily so I thought I would answer it for everyone...

How do I make money online so I can quit my job and be a digital nomad?

You are going to hate my response, but it's true... before you can start to really make money online and build a proper side hustle, something that is going to actually sustain you enough to be an expat or digital nomad and travel the world full time, you need to study.

And I don't mean that rubbish they teach in government-run schools, I mean, learn from people who have actually done stuff.

What a wild idea right?

See, traditional education is set up to have you pass some standardized test and rote memorize facts and figures that are not going to improve your life whatsoever.

If you want to build any type of online business you need to wear many hats and have a wide skill set.

You need to know how to do graphic design, writing, speaking, social media management, build websites, SEO, list building, marketing, sales, run complex software like CRM systems, pull SERP data, etc. etc. etc.

These are skills you will need to learn ON TOP of your core business.

You might think you can just outsource all of these things, and technically you can, but here is the secret no one tells you...

You will get ripped off. If you don't know how to do these things then you will not know if they are done correctly, what they should cost, or how long they should take to complete.

I remember years ago I hired a programmer to custom build my first website, it cost me over $25,000 USD, I found out afterwards I could have bought a theme for $50 bucks and done the work myself (and it probably would have looked better and been done faster too).

The truth is you will need to be a Jack/Jill of all trades if you want to succeed, and the thing is, the market changes on a regular basis, so you constantly have to reinvest in your skills.

When I started learning these things there were only $1000+ dollar courses, if there was anything at all.

But today there are entire digital marketplaces where you can purchase extremely affordable courses and programs that will allow you to start learning online business skills, one by one, in your own time, at your own pace.
