No Nolan for U(SA)
The modern day god of the silver screen, Christopher Nolan, has been sitting on his latest project, Tenet, for quite a few months after its release was disrupted by the virus.
Now, Warner Bros has decided to air it outside of the US a week or so before we get to see it here.

While this news may be heartbreaking for die hard cinema fans, it's not all doom and gloom--afterall, the movie is going to hit America soon enough.
On top of that, AMC (NYSE: AMC) has been trading up after it was announced that Universal struck a deal with them that will still allow theaters to have exclusive rights to films for about 3 weeks before they can be streamed online. This is much shorter than the 3 month waiting period some are used to, but it still offers a glimmer of hope for the theater business.
The New Normal
Even though a lot of people are acting like this whole lock down thing is over, Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOGL) certainly isn’t; the company just announced that their employees will continue to work from home until next summer.
Yup, the conglomerate has decided that no one is coming back to campus for an entire year.

While it’s impossible to say if this is a premature move on their part or if it’s a play that really does make sense, the only thing that we’re sure about is that a lot of engineers out there didn’t need any more of an excuse to be anti social.
Turkey Time
Best Buy (NYSE: BBY), Target (NYSE: TGT), and Walmart (NYSE:WMT) have all decided that their employees are going to get to spend some time with their families this Thanksgiving, because they sure as hell won’t be working.
The insidious capitalist creeping of Black Friday into Turkey Day that has been taking place over the course of the last decade may finally be halted and undone altogether.

Even though it’s early in the game, the moves made by these three titans very well could set the tone for the lemmings; EVO analysts aren’t counting on having to fight that 12 year old boy for the last Xbox this time around.
Instead, they’ll be preparing to take his money in the markets.
Sweet, sweet revenge.
Who’s Your Daddy?
Papa John is. Well, he’s the daddy of pizza, at least.
Papa Johns announced today that they were planning on hiring nearly 10,000 more employees.

So the question now is: Why the heck are they down 3.5% today?
They traded up 2% yesterday after news of the hirings broke but they are still suffering on fears of a second wave of COVID hitting the United States.
We are, too.
Half off? That’s NUTS!
The COVID-19 pandemic has certainly hit many businesses hard. One of those hardest hit was the GNS foods supplier to airlines. You know those peanut packets you get on planes? You can now get them half off.

The supplier of those nuts is sitting on nearly 50,000 pounds of excess nuts that American Airlines doesn’t want anymore. With demand for air travel down nearly 90%- the entire industry of nearly $800 Billion in revenue is still patiently waiting for things to return to normal and for many travel bans to be lifted across the globe.
