A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR

When I was sitting down to write my 2021 Christmas story, I wanted to do something different. I've written a lot over my career, but I've never written a brat.

Without giving too much away, Jade's brattiness feels a deep need to be fun and silly and naughty - a need she was denied by a childhood that forced her to grow up way too fast.

In Brody I wanted to write a Daddy Dom who understands Jade's needs but - like all my Doms I write - isn't 100 percent perfect. Sometimes what a person doesn't do is as hurtful as what they do, and when Brody's rush to care for all of Jade made this book an emotional but fun one to write.
