Dear readers,
It's with a heavy heart I have to announce that I canceled Archer's pre-order. Amazon punishes us for cancelling pre-orders but I could not persist on the path I was going down.
Earlier this year, I had a severe panic attack that put me down for a whole month. After getting better, I started diminishing my amount of work. Or so I thought. It wasn't enough change. I do my own social media, including TikTok (that takes some two or three hours daily), and even though I took a couple of books out of my personal 2025 planner, it was still too much.
Two weeks ago, I had another severe panic attack that stretched out for two days, then a milder one a few days after. I have a chronic illness that flared up with it and I don't know if the illness triggered the panic attack or the panic attack triggered the illness... I'm still on the road to recovery, almost three weeks later. And this time, I have to face the truth. I'm very possibly burnout and I cannot give you Archer the way it was meant to be.
I don't want to put a half-baked book out there. I want to give it my all. I refuse to just wrap it up earlier (it's half written) and just publish it. It will come out one day, but since Amazon doesn't let us move pre-orders further than one month, then I don't believe I'll make it.
So, I'm very sorry, but I cancelled the pre-order. I will not be able to set up any other pre-orders now, but when I come back, I can promise you I'll have a book that speaks from my heart. A book that is well written and that resonates with my truth. A book that I'm proud of. Maybe it's Archer, maybe it's Pucking Perfect, maybe it's another one.
I'm very sorry for letting you down, but I'll have to put my health first. And I urge you to do the same! Writing is my passion, but the Zon's model has been slowly draining me. They urge us to publish often, but quality work needs time. And I'm giving myself the time I need right now.

I have a secret to tell you. Being a writer is very hard, and so a couple of years ago I started a second pen name for books that didn't fit my 'aesthetics' here. Namely, I wanted to write Reverse Harem and monster romance. lol
Having two pen names is incredibly stressful. I write for both, do social media for both... It's obvious now that the stress caught up to me and I must give my body some time to rest.
