Hello hello!
The email subject is a joke, of course! π I go to therapy and I believe that everyone should go, too. We all have something to work on.
But writing books has helped me work through some things. I've been trying to come up with themes that resonate with me so I can pour my heart into the work.
Most recently, I wrote Hated by the Grump and the hero's favorite thing about the heroine is... her smile. Our heroine is so sunshiney that our hero can't help but gravitate toward her. Even if he hates her.
And I noticed that I used to be more sunny than I am right now. More positive. Somewhere along the pandemic and moving to another country, I think I lost some of that passion for life.
And now that I know that, I can work toward becoming that person again. Finding myself once more.
Have you ever had an experience like this? Have you ever read a book that made you notice something about yourself?
On another note... How is your week going? I've been a bit obsessed with Renee Rapp. It's always so good to find a new artist you love!
See you next!
xx
