POTENTIAL OBSTACLES TO REACHING YOUR GOALS

Sep 18, 2020 3:18 pm

Hello,

We are wrapping up on the obstacles today and I hope that it has added value to you. Let's consider the last on the list of obstacles today;

I HAVE TOO MANY THINGS TO DO

In life, there will always be too many things to do. Fortunately, you have the ability to prioritize your goals and activities. Review your list of goals and note the ones that are the most important to you. Identify the ones that will give you the greatest return on your investment. Which will provide you with the greatest enjoyment or sense of accomplishment? Use your responses to prioritize the goals that are the most important to you. Then plan your hours, your days, and even your months to reach those goals. This has helped me a great deal.

In working on tasks, ignore the trivial and concentrate on the vital.

See below some very helpful tips that will put your goals in order of priority:

1. Identify criteria for prioritizing your goals. For example, which are the most important to you? Which have the greatest impact?

2. Use a high-medium-low scale to assess your goals, using your criteria.

3. Make those goals with the highest rankings your high-priority items.

Most of us realize that effective goal setting is a key to getting things accomplished. However, as we have reviewed during this week, there are potential obstacles that impede progress. Only when you understand the nature of the obstacles confronting you can you develop strategies to minimize these and achieve your goals.

Next week, I will share with you a well-structured Goal Setting Method called the P.R.I.M.E.R. Method. Watch out for it and do well to send me feedback on the impact of the course to your everyday life. I expect your feedback.

Also reach your friends and family to also benefit from this training by sending the link below to them and encourage them to sign up;
