Turbulent Times
I hope you and your family are safe and in good health, despite the warfare that is taking place in Ukraine, and the massive floods that are drowning towns in eastern Australia.
Those issues make my grumbles about delays with my cottage extension sound petty. At least a load of timber arrived earlier this week and construction of the framework for the cottage should start next week.
Because my street is so small, and access to the cottage is challenging, the man delivering the timber needed all his navigational skill in avoiding power lines and the neighbour’s car.

Release of Wild Destiny
My new release is part fantasy, part paranormal and part love story. It is set in a small country town, where everyone knows everyone else but things are not what they seem on the surface. As Daniel discovers while renting a cottage in town while completing a short-term project, the Goddess moves in mysterious ways.
“Footsteps echoed behind him, ringing out against the hard road surface. Whoever it was had no interest in being stealthy. Daniel stopped and looked back. The figure, buried deep in the shadows, also stopped. The follower stood close to the fence, hidden from the light falling on the road.
The night sky clouded over again. Daniel started walking once more, and so did the stranger, the footsteps echoing his own.”
If you enjoy this tale, please leave a review.
