Between the Pages

Hi

I discovered a new friend on my early morning walk today. From a distance (okay, I wasn't wearing my glasses) I thought a dog was frollicking in the shallows. As I drew closer, I realised it was a pelican.

It's been a cold week or so, but if I don't go to the gym, I try to get out for a walk along the foreshore. There can be some interesting sights. I'm glad that the winter solstice has passed, and look forward to the lengthening days.

The Harrow Series

Harrow is a small village located in the Adelaide Hills, on the banks of the Fyfe River. Its inhabitants follow the wiccan path and live by the ways of the Goddess. Some members of the Clan have unusual gifts, which can be used for both good and evil. The series follows the lives of several women who reside in Harrow, and the challenges they face in coming to terms with their destiny, finding their soul mate, and surviving the forces that oppose them… all in the name of love.

Wild Spirit

The prequel to the Tales from Harrow Series is the latest release. It joins Wild Destiny, Wild Spirit and Wild Fire is this locally based romantasy series. The books don't have to be read in order, but it may result in a better reader experience.

If you read the book, it would be fantastic if you left a review.

What manner of evil would threaten the lives of innocent babes?

In a world where destiny weaves its intricate tapestry, the lives of innocents hang in the balance. An unspeakable evil threatens their very existence. Bound by an unyielding sense of duty, Bronwen confronts a heart-wrenching choice that could alter her future forever. Safeguard her sister's unborn child means leaving behind the man she loves.

Amidst the shadows of secrecy and the burning embers of their love, Kieran embarks on a relentless quest, to reclaim the woman stolen from his grasp. A world-wide search to combat the curse leads to help from unlikely sources. That is the beginning. He still has to bring Bronwen home. Without the transition to Apollo, he has no chance.

The price of one woman's sacrifice reverberates through the lives of the Harrow Clan, threatening to shatter their very existence. Can they and the Goddess defy encroaching evil and a fate that appears unavoidable?

Beta Readers

I'm seeking beta readers for a new novel, a crime story with romantic elements. This book is in draft form, but needs feedback from others on the story structure before it progresses to print. If you are interested, follow the link below. Your comments are important in the development of the book.

Skywalkers

Only fools would be out on a rooftop on a wild, stormy night… and those with nefarious intentions. All Roger wants is to stay out of the weather, and stay out of trouble, but trouble comes looking for him.

The Skywalkers often emerge when the city shuts down for other folk. They are the ones who live above everyone else and keep the city and its buildings running. They are a loose-knit group who support and look out for each other.

When a possible murder disrupts the predictable pattern of his life, Roger finds himself at the centre of unwanted attention. More than that, it seems his life is also at risk.

A heritage consultant, a ginger cat, and a retired concert pianist with a past all play a role in Roger’s desperate attempts to understand who is framing him, and why. From a high vantage point, it seems he may end up as another stain on the footpath.

Street Team

Would you like to join my street team? What's that you ask?

A street team is comprised of readers who share in the writing/reading journey. They may receive draft chapters and be asked to comment on them. Their involvement can help improve the book. A copy of the final edited version will be available so that the reader can read an entire story without interruptions, and of course point out any errors before a finger hits the Publish button.

On release day, you are asked to post a review. The street team participation is a two-way street. If this sounds like something you would enjoy, email me at.
