If you're anything like me, you're still trying to digest your last Christmas lunch, and here it is 1st December already. I'm thrilled that this time, my house renovations and extensions are completed on the inside, and lunch can be at home this year. You will understand what difference a year makes when looking at these photos, taken twelve months apart.

At least I had a concrete slab, but not a lot in the way of a living area.

This is now my lounge room, complete with air conditioning and a fan for those hot summer days. The walls and ceiling are packed with insulation, so to date I have been managing with just the fan on the really hot days.
