I don't have a lot of time for baking, and the worry is that if I do, I'll eat it :-), but I recently bought a new bundt tin and so had to try it out. Given the pre-release work I was doing towards 'My True Love Gave to me', I decided to give the tin a trial run with a Ginger Baba cake. It has a lovely gingery, treacly taste.

I was concerned about how easily it would come out of the tin, but a liberal coating of melted butter with a pastry brush took care of that. I also dusted the tin lightly with flour. It fell out quite easily when I held my breath and upended the cake.
