Honestly, I’ve always been obsessed with sound and how it makes us feel.

I remember when I was a shy 14-year-old keyboard player and backing singer back in the mid-80s in my first ever band and I was always fascinated by how different sounds made me feel, especially strings! They lifted me, opened my heart and made me super emotional… and they still do to this day.

Also that time when I got my first speakers and microphone and over time they actually blew 😆 There are theories around this, that some people are simply more sensitive to electromagnetic and sound frequencies (EMF - Electro Magnetic Field).

I’ve always felt sound through my whole body, not just my ears. Music is a feeling... that's why it's so important what we listen to, it affects our minds, body and spirit.

Sometimes I play around with my Tibetan bowl, cymbals and shamanic drum, clearing the whole house with them - the neighbours probably think I’m a bit bonkers! Haha. (Maybe I’ll do another newsletter soon sharing more about how I use these and why 🎶)
