My MAXX journey, from 1993 to now 💃

I wanted to share a little history with you, especially for those who know and love the MAXX era and have followed my journey over the years.
MAXX began in 1993 as a studio concept created by producers in Berlin. It was built around a sound and identity rather than a traditional band at the start. A rapper was brought in and became part of the project, while the singer featured in the earliest phase was not part of the group itself and had a separate agreement confirming she would not be an official member of MAXX.
In 1994, I joined the project while living in Germany. At the time I was working as a secretary during the day and singing in the evenings, using my own PA equipment and doing live and studio work wherever I could. I was also involved with BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Services) radio, writing jingles for a well known DJ’s lunchtime show, which was a really creative and exciting period for me.
That same week, I was offered a solo recording opportunity with Sony and also auditioned for MAXX. I chose to step into MAXX, and that decision led me into a global Eurodance journey that many of you know through the records and performances.
Looking back, it’s been a long and eventful path, with many experiences that have shaped me both as an artist and as a person. Like any journey that spans decades, there have been challenges along the way and I’ve learned a lot about staying grounded, protecting my energy and standing in my own truth.
Today, I continue as an independent artist, performing and creating music in my own way. I’m grateful for every chapter that brought me here and for every one of you who continues to listen, support and connect with the music.
MAXX will always be part of my story, but so is this present moment and the path I’m walking now 💫
