I’ve got some BIG news to share... and honestly, even I didn’t see this coming!

So here’s what happened 👇

Back in January, life threw me a beautiful surprise.

My longtime friend Lane McCray — you might know him as the iconic singer and rapper from 90s group La Bouche reached out once again with a question he’s asked me for some years:

“Elyse, can you sing 'Be My Lover'?”

Now, if you’ve been in my world a while, you’ll know I’ve always said no.

Why?

Because I’m deeply committed to MAXX and the incredible musical journey I share with Rapper 'Twitch'.

MAXX is my musical home and we’ll continue to perform together, doing meet & greets and sharing that unstoppable 90s vibe with fans all over the globe.

But something about this year felt different… and after some thought (and love), I said: YES.

And just like that, I officially stepped into the role of La Bouche’s Lead Vocalist for Europe. 💃

My debut was on May 23rd in Timisoara, Romania, followed by a blast at the We Love The 90s Festival in Valencia, singing Sweet Dreams and Be My Lover in front of a buzzing crowd. The energy was unreal! And next up? Madrid on Saturday 14th June with even more 90s legends I can’t wait to perform alongside (and fangirl over!).

This new role doesn’t replace MAXX — it’s just another frequency I’ve tuned into. Think of it like a remix to my 90s story, one that I’m excited to explore while still staying true to my MAXX roots.
