Heads up! A rare chance to snag a numbered copy of The Terrified Troll has just popped up!
I have FOUR copies of the NUMBERED edition of The Terrified Troll up for grabs. We printed 500 copies in total, 26 for the lettered edition, 24 artist copies for myself and Eva, 250 for the numbered edition, and 200 spare, unnumbered copies.
While we printed the numbered edition based on the orders received, we've ended up with FOUR leftover copies. I thought about auctioning them off to the highest bidder, but I don't want to be greedy, And I thought about making it a first-come-first-served situation, but that would be unfair to fans in different time zones.
So I'm going to do a RANDOM DRAW. If YOU would like a copy, send an email with your name and address to [email protected]
You have until Tuesday morning (14th October) Irish time to send your email. At that point I will draw four random emails, and offer each of the people the chance to buy the book for €25, which includes P&P. (This is the same price that everyone else paid in the crowdfunder.) "Winners" won't be obliged to buy it -- if any of them prefers not to complete the purchase, I will draw again and offer someone else the deal.
At some point when I finish shipping out the numbered edition, I will be offering some of the unnumbered copies for sale. These were mostly intended to give away to friends, family members, publishers, reviewers, etc, but we had to print more than we required, in order to ensure a higher quality printing process for the book. (If you order less than 500 copies, you get an inferior product.) I'm not sure how many of these we will make available, but those who enter this draw will get offered the unnumbered books first, before I offer them to anyone else -- if there are more entries than books, I'll do another draw to choose those who get first choice.
Oh, if you already ordered one of the lettered or numbered copies, PLEASE do not enter this draw, as I want these four books to go to people who missed out on the crowdfunder. That said, if you are looking for copies of the unnumbered edition, do feel free to email me at this time -- the same email address as above -- and I will include you in that process -- just add a line or two to your email saying you don't want a numbered copy, only an unnumbered one.
