I'm coming to a couple of WATERSTONES stores in MANCHESTER, ENGLAND later this month, for my first public appearances in the UK in a LONG time!
I'm doing a SIGNING on FRIDAY MARCH 28th at 5pm, and an EVENT on SATURDAY MARCH 29TH at 11am. This gives fans two chances to meet me, and a choice of whether to just come and get books signed, or to listen to me chat. (I'm well aware that some of you might have neither the time nor inclination to listen to me waffle on for an hour!!)
Entry to either the signing or event is £7.99, but in both cases the price includes a brand new copy of the gorgeous 25th anniversary edition of Cirque Du Freak. Here are the direct links if you want to reserve tickets:
FRIDAY 28TH, 5pm - SIGNING - WATERSTONES TRAFFORD CENTRE: https://www.waterstones.com/events/darren-shan-book-signing/manchester-trafford-centre
SATURDAY 29TH, 11am - EVENT (readings, chat, and Q&A, followined by a signing) - WATERSTONES ARNDALE: https://www.waterstones.com/events/in-conversation-with-darren-shan/manchester-arndale-centre
Although I hope to do some more events or signings in the UK over the course of 2025, nothing is currently pencilled in apart from some library events in Birmingham in November. So, if you CAN make either the signing or event in Manchester, I'd say it will definitely be worth making the effort, as there's no guarantee you'll be able to catch me in action anywhere else in the near future...
You're more than welcome to bring books from home to either the signing or event -- there are no limits on how many I will sign. And, of course, you'll be able to pose with me to have your photo taken, if you wish, at no extra cost. WARNING!!! I DO strangle when I pose for photos, so be prepared!!!!!!
Darren.
