I was shocked to hear that Book Depository is to close for business on April 26th. I always saw it as a worthy competitor to Amazon, and it was a great way for fans of my books to be able to order my self-published Archibald Lox series, especially if they lived in a country without an Amazon store. But now, alas, it is soon to Be No More.
I decided to have a look at my Archibald Lox books on the site, in case they were running any last-minute super-bargains on the hardbacks. While there are discounts on all three of the omnibus volumes, there are no HUGE discounts -- but I DID find a massive bargain on Volume 2 on Amazon in the USA, where it's on sale at a hard-to-believe 77% discount!!!!
I've provided links below for the cheapest way to buy all three Volumes, across the Amazon and Book Depository stores. I've also included a link for the British hardback of Volume 2, which is on sale at a tempting 56% discount on Amazon UK. There might be similar bargains to be found on other Amazon stores, so my advice is to have a look around if you live elsewhere in the world -- although Book Depository ship EVERYWHERE for FREE, so the BD links below should work for you no matter where you live -- just make sure you order before April 26th!!!
