The power of self compassion & acceptance

Dear Wonderful Woman,

How are you doing?

I'm well.

We can often be the harshest critic of ourselves.

We think that because where we are now isn't where we want to be in our career journey that our voice doesn't matter, that we should play small and who are we stand up and put ourselves out there.

Because we judge ourselves and we fear the judgement of others.

We are afraid, we are scared and we worry about failure.

It's absolutely ok to have these feelings, but what we need is to not let those feelings run the show, or to keep us from taking action.

Today I want to remind you that:

To be visible and to share your story isn't about sharing a perfect story.

It's about honouring your truth and sharing passion, your challenges, what you have overcome and where you're headed in the future.

To believe that being self-compassionate and accepting of yourself is what will enable you to unleash your fullest potential.

To be courageous and to do it scared, when you're not fully ready.

Only when you take action do you have data to go on about the difference between what you imagined and what actually happened!

I understand and know the struggle of embracing who are authentically, is an on-going journey.

I urge you to lean into self-compassion and treat yourself with the kindness and the love that you show to your best friend or your nearest and dearest.

Today over on LinkedIn, I'm calling myself out about embracing all that I am.

You can find out more about that: HERE

Because your confidence grows, with your belief in yourself, owning who you are deciding that you matter and the world needs what you've got. 🙌🏾💃🏾🔥

Hit reply and let me know 1 thing that you will do show kindness to yourself today?

Warm Regards,

Ekua 💛
