Spring & New Beginnings in your Career

Dear Wonderful Woman,
How are you doing?
I hope you're well.
I have been on lovely ski holiday last week. I tell you this because I believe rest is important and you've not heard from me in a week!
This week I have taken on a new client. And it has got me thinking about the beginning of the coaching journey and how hard it can sometimes be. I wanted to share 4 things to consider as you journey into taking action for your career noted below:
1 The journey is long and never quick or easy!
Your journey will take days, weeks, months and years.
2 It won't be comfortable, without challenge or you wanting to give up - Don't give up!
It will not feel comfortable, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't persist.
3 You will fall off the wagon, and fail at some points and that's OK!
You will fall off the wagon, but you just need to be compassionate with yourself and go again.
4 The journey need not be lonely, so ask for support!
It will be tough and you'll need help, so find an accountability buddy, friend, peer or person you can trust to help support your change.
I hope that this new month has opened well for you. The month ahead of you is filled with new opportunities, ways for you to do it differently, to practice, to build confidence and go for what you want!
Warm Regards,
Ekua
