What do you do when the unexpected happens?

Dear Wonderful Woman & Allies,

Happy Tuesday! πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸŽ‰

Happy New Year! 🎊🎊

How are you doing? I'm feeling ambitious! I've got a cold.

Thankfully, I'm getting to the tail end of the cold.

Yesterday I shared what having a cold has taught me on day of the year.

Which in summary was don't lie to yourself about how much energy you have.

Plan your day to do less and not more!

Today my story starts with an unexpected and normal issue everyone faces every once in a while.

What do you do when your internet goes down?

In fact what's your first reaction?

Frustration

Annoyance

Glee!

Joy!

Well, pick an emotion.....

For me, I had to resist the urge to wake up my Husband at silly o'clock this morning.

Thankfully I know better! (He's not a morning person!!!)

So, then what do with this unexpected time?

And it's funny it gave me time to think and plan about something that's going to be a really big part of my year, which is the Get Paid to Speak Communities.

I got to think about my vision and goals for my 2 Get Paid to Speak products which are:

1) The Get Paid to Speak Leadership Accelerator is for Social Justice Advocates and Changemakers who want to make their greatest impact by getting paid to speak! For experienced speakers who have been paid, but not consistently or have a keynote or have a signature talk. The accelerator is a 6 months programme that provides a blueprint to becoming a high-paid speaker.

2) The Get Paid to Speak Virtual Live Workshops (6) are for speakers with 1-3 yrs experience or speakers who want to go from Speaker to Paid Speaker. The workshops are monthly Feb-Jul.

I got to think about how to:

Make the message clear about what they offer

How to invite people into the different offers

How to partner with the right people to enhance my programme

What I need to stop when I think about building this out to scale

My business Coach said something, which resonates with me and that is "Simplicity Scales".

Keep it super simple and clear.

When you think about how you're approaching your career goals in 2025 are you:

1) Keeping it simple and clear

2) Being honest with yourself about where you are now and where you want to be

3) Are you planning to ask for help or to upskill to reach your goals more efficiently in 2025?

Finally, I want to remind you of this statement:

You miss 100% of all the shots you never take!

Take your shots in 2025!

I'm rooting for you! πŸ’ƒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ€©πŸ’ƒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ€©πŸ’ƒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ€©πŸ’ƒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ€©πŸ’ƒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ€©πŸ’ƒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ€©πŸ’ƒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ€©
