You may be seeking a promotion this year. That's awesome!

One of the thing that often holds women back when it comes to gaining a promotion is not wanting to brag or to come across as arrogant.

Recently there have been some articles in the press about whether you need to brag in order to get noticed and to gain a promotion.

There is a difference between bragging, self-promotion and being visible in your workplace.

No you don't need to brag in order to gain a promotion.

You do need to self-promote and to be visible in your workplace.

The issue of self-promotion can be one that makes you feel icky or want hide!

I'm going to remind you of 3 things to support you to self-promote with confidence.

✅ Making sure that your boss knows of positive feedback and praise that you're getting will support your case for advancement

✅ Keeping a wins and positive feedback file will make it easier to share evidence when making your case

✅ No-one stands gain more than you if you confidently back yourself and you publicly own the good work you're doing
