I have been thinking about what it takes to get what you want in your Career...

And it takes going beyond your comfort zone. 💯

Now is the time to get honest with yourself at the start of the year and to tackle what has been between you and your career dreams last year.

Let me start with a statement which I'm sure you've heard:

The Work Doesn't Speak for itself.

Self-promotion, visibility and networking are required to get you promoted.

The second sentence may make you feel:

Icky

Uncomfortable

And Resistant

The facts are that people who are visible on LinkedIn and are using their platform to:

Demonstrate thought leadership

Personal Development and Growth

Wins and Awards

Will get promoted faster than those who have:

An incomplete profile

Who are only active once in a bluemoon

Who don't leverage LinkedIn to be visible and to build a personal brand
