5 Ways to thrive in the hybrid-working environment

I hope you're well.


I've been thinking a lot about "the future of work" and how "hybrid-working" is definitely here to stay. It offers opportunities and challenges that we need to be mindful when navigating your career as a female professional. With that in mind, I'd like to share 3 tips for career success in the hybrid-working environment.


1 Commit to your own up-skilling and professional development


If the pandemic has has taught us anything, it is that we need to make it a habit to update our skills and be open to learning new things. What are you doing every month or every 3 months to learn new things? It can be as simple as attending a webinar, reading a blog or doing an online course.


2 Recognise the unfair bias against women in the hybrid-working world and do what you can to be visible


The reality is that in person and being in the office is the place to advance. With this knowledge, do what you can to arrange to visit the office at strategic times and for important meetings. You need to play the game Ladies!


3 Commit to Online Professional Visibility


I know it can be uncomfortable to be visible. You can read further thoughts on that: HERE However you've got to find a platform that works for you and making it a habit to share your gifts, knowledge and expertise on a regular basis.
