Question 10: What does career success look like for me personally?

This question is helping you reflect on what success look like for and what are the different aspects that you want to create in your career. In thinking about this question I would like you to consider the questions below:

What does career success look in terms of my salary?

What does career success look like in terms of my work-life balance?

What does career success look like in terms of my happiness and job satisfaction?

What does career success look like in terms of the impact that I make in the world?

What does career success look like in terms of legacy or contribution to my industry or improving my industry?

What is reason I am striving for this "success" and what will do for me, those I love and the issues I care about in the world?

These questions are to support you to reflect on what your unique version of career success looks like.

Reflect and journal on that question and take action on becoming clear on what the different aspects of your career success are and why they are important to you. Having clarity on what career success looks like for you, will help you to anchor taking career decisions and fulfilling your career mission.

Your 10th well-being task for you in the 24 hours you have in a day is to spend 15 mins on celebrating 10 career wins from the past year. Yes we've done this one before, repetition is the key to mastery! We need to be reminded that we have won in the past and that we will win again. So take the opportunity to work on your Wins Hall of Fame, to write down your wins and to look at anything that reminds you about your ability to do great things!
