I recomend you take some time off .............

Dear Wonderful Woman,
I hope you're well.
I hope that you have planned to take some time off to rest and re-charge over summer. I'm sure like me, you have so many things that you want to accomplish by the end of 2021. You want to look back over this year, and know that despite the challenges, the things that didn't go as expected, you gave it your all. You didn't give into your fears, doubts, or let a failure turn off your desire to achieve your career goal.
I want to talk about giving yourself the permission to rest. To know that in order for you to avoid burnout, losing motivation, and a decline in mental health, You Must Rest. In the past I have been afraid to take a break, and that led to my experience of Burnout. I used not to recognise that part of your success, is looking after your mental and physical well-being. You can't keep going without any fuel! So, I encourage you to take sometime off, to enjoy time with family and friends, to enjoy a change of scene, your favourite activities, and to re-fuel.
I am taking some time off to rest. I'm going to be accompanying my Husband to Weymouth as he takes part in the Laser Nationals, a week long sailing race. The following week we'll be going to the Lake District for a holiday. I'm going to be scheduling my newsletter, because I've got some exciting things coming up, that you won't want to miss! (There may be a couple of bonus newsletters!)
Reflect on what's holding you back, from taking action to reach your biggest career goals. If it's fear, I want you to know that you can handle it. I want you to take positive inspired action and not feel stuck. Check out the tips below and work through your fears. Believe in your capacity to learn, grow, and do great things!
When you feel fear Remember these 3 things:
✅ Take a moment to take 6 deep calming breaths to break the negative emotions hijacking your brain. With each breath say a positive affirmation - I inhale calmness and I exhale fear (Or one of your own).
✅ Become aware of your negative thoughts and re-frame them to positive ones.
✅ Feel the fear and do it anyway! Take a small action to make progress, because action builds momentum.
