Is that helpful or harmful?

Dear Wonderful Woman,
I hope you're well.
Today is the 30th of November. There is now 1 month remaining of 2020. On Friday I was encouraging you to start considering your goals for 2021 now. It got me thinking about, what thoughts have I had most this year? Have they been helpful to me or have they been harmful? I would advocate that you focus on thoughts that are helpful. Those thoughts that give you the opportunity to work through doubts, fears, worries and move you towards a Growth Mindset. Have you audited your thoughts recently? Take a moment to consider the following:
Am I thinking about how to make my "failures" less total and how I can learn from them.
Am I thinking about how to practice "that thing" so that I can reduce my fears.
Am I thinking about how I can use my discomfort to make a change to help me progress towards my goals.
Am I thinking about how I can speak-up, advocate for myself and be more visible.
Am I thinking about how to be less hard on myself and how I can acknowledge my success when I do well.
Am I thinking about how I can ask for help to enable me to move forward with my endeavours. (Because I don't have to do it alone, there are many ways to access the help I need, I just need to be courageous and ask for it.)
Who will join me in a pre-New Year, "Winter-Cleaning" of the thoughts that don't serve you?
This week, I invite you to consider the following questions. To take some quiet time to consider the following:
How can I take action to be kinder to myself?
How can I become more conscience of the thoughts that don't serve me?
Does my current mindset serve me?
Do my current habits serve me? (Mentally, physically, how I talk to myself in my mind, how I look after myself etc.)
Working on your mindset allows you to believe in new possibilities. Take this opportunity before the end of the year to assess, how are you feeling right now, does that help you or hinder you? Do you need to take a moment to acknowledge a bad feeling, a disappointment, a "failure" or negative feedback? Perhaps it is time to let it go. (#permissiontoletitgo) To consider how can you be kinder and more helpful to yourself?
