Today, I am reflecting on your opportunity to seize now, today and the present!

Time is precious and will always pass.

There are 1,599 hours left until 31st Dec 2023.

And that may seem like a long-time.........

However, you have the opportunity to decide that you want different.

Now is the time to act to get yourself in pole position to finish your 2023 in place that makes you feel proud.

Here are three things to reflect on about where you are in terms of your progress with your career goal for 2023:

Mindset & Beliefs

It can sometimes be jungle out there in the workplace, the job-hunting market and in your own mind!

Yes, absolutely your mind, your thoughts and your beliefs about your opportunity to achieve your career goals help or hinder you.

Those limiting beliefs can be tricky and can hold you back from taking inspired and intentional action.

Reflective questions:

1. What thoughts are dominant for you at the moment? Helpful or harmful?
2. What do you believe honestly about making progress on your 2023 career goal? Helpful or harmful?
3. What is 1 action you can take to replace a limiting belief? What can you do to replace that belief with a helpful one? What can you do to give yourself evidence for your new belief?

Action & Avoidance

It can sometimes be a challenge to take action when you feel frustration, a lack of progress or that you're not making the progress you desire. It can be discouraging. You can stop taking action or avoid taking the action that you know could help because of fear, doubt, and a lack of trust in yourself.

Action is a many-edged sword!

Reflective questions:

1. What action would I be taking if I was confident and believed I could not fail?
2. Do I know the right action to take get the results I desire in my career?
3. What is an action that is not helpful that I should stop to support my career success?
