How to Say "No" and feel empowered

Dear Wonderful Woman,
How are you doing?
In the last email we reflected on how saying "Yes" can lead us to new experiences, opportunities and growth.
So today, I want to talk about the reverse. By that I mean saying "No to yourself" as a means to make space, to enable you to focus and to grow. Because sometimes we actually stop saying "Yes"- and taking on more than we can actually handle.
We need to become aware and more discerning with ourselves.
By this I mean we need to take a time out to assess what we're currently doing and whether it is honestly:
Helping me
Harming me
Or Something that you need to STOP!
Because the "Greatest Love of All is loving yourself" and I would also add having "loyalty to yourself". What I mean by this is that we spend a lot of time giving to our employer, family and friends and put ourselves last.
So what I am saying is that you need to make yourself a priority so that you are able to have clarity, focus, and the capacity to move forward with your biggest career dreams.
So what I am going to do is to share with you a slide from my presentation to the Global Inclusion Online Forum:
So today I want to ask you 2 questions:
What does "No" currently mean to you?
How can you use "No" to empower your career journey to the place you are desiring to get too?
Hit reply and let me know your thoughts.
Have a great day ahead.
Warm Regards,
Ekua 💛
