However, being intentionally visible can really help you moving forward with your career goal. It's something that can seem overwhelming, so today I'm sharing a couple of areas to get started with building your visibility.

Start with these 3 areas to build your visibility:

1 Being Visible on LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a fantastic tool, to build your personal brand! Is your profile up to date? Are you active on LinkedIn? Are you sharing industry content and getting involved in industry conversations? Taking the time to invest in utilizing LinkedIn for career visibility or job-hunting can help you to gain intelligence and attract career opportunities.

2 Promote your Success & Share your Wins

Do you share your wins and success on your social platforms? Which can be seen by your manager, colleagues, company leaders and hiring managers. Sharing your success can be about a win or can be about completing a course or up-skilling and demonstrating deeper knowledge of your industry. Sharing about up-skilling or attending industry events also supports your job-hunting or career advancement.

3 Be Visible to your Boss or Hiring Managers

Do you have regular meetings with your boss? At your 1-2-1, don't forget to share your wins and any positive feedback you receive. It's also important that you take the opportunity to ask your boss about who needs to know about your success and to share your wins in company wide meetings.

If you're a job-seeker can you easily be found on LinkedIn and is your profile up to date? It's important to treat your LinkedIn profile as something that is living, which you up date and use on regular basis to further your job-search.

Building your visibility muscle can be tough tough by yourself.
