Who's that Girl?

Hello Lovely New Coach & Consultant,

How are you doing?

So you know I realised, that I've started this newsletter with a bang! Excitement and sharing all the great knowledge.

But, to borrow, from my favourite Eve song, - "Who's that Girl"? That girl or Woman is me. I'd like to introduce myself and why I am so passionate about sharing my experience and that of my peers ahead of me.

2 years and 4 months ago I made a decision to go all in a committing to becoming a career coach.

I was coming from a place of having hit rock bottom when my startup DrinksBot "failed". I was Burnout, overwhelmed and I had come to a cross-roads. You know the one where you think there has to be more to life than this?

I knew I had be harbouring a secret desire to go into coaching. But I was getting in my own way, I was listening to the inner critic, imposter syndrome and all the reasons why not. You know, that old chestnut!

I decided that I was going to go for it because at the end of the day, there was always employment should I so have the need to go back.

So has it been all "unicorns and rainbows"? Um, No! Let's be real Ladies, anything worth doing is going to have some issues to overcome, but commitment, the right environment and a greater WHY have helped me to stay on the path to my greatest impact.

So when I was starting out here are a couple of things I'd wish I'd known:

✅ Defining your Niche is a journey and is an iterative process

✅ Being a coach doesn't mean that you shouldn't have a coach - Actually having a coach demonstrates you also invest in your own growth as you are asking your potential clients to do.

✅ Working on the mindset gremlins is a continual practice.
