Dear Wonderful Woman,

How are you doing?

I am well.

This weekend I was inspired by an ambitious professional woman in her 30's and she reminded me of 2 powerful lessons.

The 1st is: Don't wait to be invited, step up and apply for the promotion, opportunity or that job! 🙌🏾🎉🔥🎯🙌🏾🎉🔥🎯🙌🏾🎉🔥🎯

The 2nd is: Don't wait for someone to tell you when you should go for your biggest career dreams! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

That woman is my cousin and she is putting herself forward for a promotion opportunity at work, one of the things she said in conversation was, "No-one invited me to step forward, so does that mean they think I'm not ready?".

I said if you believe you're ready then you should go for it, she had already made up her mind to do, which was awesome!

However, the thought had crossed her mind.

I hope that this reminds you to back and believe in yourself, to go for opportunities when they arise and not seek external validation to step forward.
