How to sell your coaching or consulting & be integrity with yourself

How are you doing?
I shared recently how I came into coaching. I want to share another little talked about truth about selling coaching or consulting.
There is lots of information out there about creating a coaching programme or consulting package. Things like:
- How to create your high ticket offer and create a six figure business
- How to price so you have to sell fewer products
- How to use LinkedIn to create clients and a six figure business
- How to market your expertise and charge high ticket prices
There's something vital that all of those offers in the market place are missing.
What are they missing?
You need need the following 4 things to be in place before you utlitize those offers effectively:
✅ You need to be emotionally ready to sell - You made need to take time to prepare.
✅ You need to believe that selling really is service - You may need to take some time to understand what this means to you.
✅ You need to believe that you are the prize! - What I mean by this is that what you have to offer is valuable and not everyone will understand or be ready to receive the prize.
✅ You need to have the right alignment, beliefs, mindset and approach to undertake the sales process and journey. As well as the understanding that a rejection of your product or service isn't a rejection of you as person or have any bearing on your worth. (You're priceless!)
So in the beginning when I was newer to coaching I struggled with all of the above.
I felt like.......
"I'm not sure my service is really worth that."
"What if they pay all that money and they don't feel transformed or satisfied".
"Why would anyone pay this amount for my coaching?".
Or so I thought!
It's definitely a mistake to not take the time to prepare yourself to sell if it's something that you've never done before.
Because one of the hardest things to do is to........
Realise that you're the prize!
And not everyone will want to receive your "prize". Those that do want your "prize" with be overjoyed and estatic. Here's the nuance to that just as you need to prepare and learn how to sell with integrity, you will also have clients or companies that take more time to decide and agree that you are indeed "the prize" that they want to work with. In this case we have to employ our powers of discernment and patience.
And a final word on selling:
If you're to sell - you'll feel aligned, trust the process and be resilient
If you're to sell - you'll feel emotionally confident in yourself and your offer
If you're to sell - you'll need to charge according to which step in the staircase the prospect is on
