Dear Wonderful Woman,

How are you doing?

I hope you're well.

I enjoyed a lovely Easter break. I avoided back to back "parenting" or in other words visits to both parents back to back! Because that would not have been good for my mental health, as I much as I love both sets of parents.

Holidays can be a fun, triggering, stressful and a combination of everything!

So I'm excited to share with you that last week, before I closed for Easter, I interviewed Dr. Yvette Ankrah MBE and she shared her expertise and insight on wellbeing for high-performing women in the workplace for the Navigating your Career as Female Black Professional.

We covered amongst everything the following 3 tips:

1 You must fill your own cup first!

2 You must protect your own energy, mental and physical health first.

3 Creating boundaries as difficult as it maybe serve your highest purpose. Those that depended on you and your giving will adapt, if you put boundaries in place and stick to them!

Wishing you a great week ahead.

Hit reply and let me know where you have put in place boundaries at work that are serving your wellbeing?

Warm Regards,

Ekua ðŸ’›
