How are you doing?

I'm well.

Yesterday I was at Gatwick Airport and someone was on the phone to his mate and he said "The Queen is dead", we like haha what a joker!

However what wasn't a fact in that moment, became a FACT that evening.

Queen Elizabeth II has passed.

Her legacy remains.

And there will be all kinds of responses to this fact.

What I'd like to reflect on is what does this mean in the business context?

It means that for the next month social media will become saturated with Royal news, updates and the eventual coronation of King Charles III.

Here are 3 things to bear in mind as you carry on with business:

• Your social media followers will expect a reaction from you, so share something you feel is appropriate and respectful whatever your feelings are
• Just like the war in Ukraine it doesn't mean that you should stop sharing your offers and your insights, but bear in mind if you are in the UK that there will be a general low mood for the next month
• There is always something happening and despite it, still we move forward
