Join us for our annual birthday reading, where we have society members and the public read Eiseley's poetry in honor of his September birthday in 1907.

Star Thrower Challenge Grant

An anonymous donor has provided the Loren Eiseley Society with $15,000 as a challenge grant that needs to be matched for presenting The Star Thrower musical dramatization in Nebraska. We would like to appeal to you to make a donation to the Loren Eiseley Society to help us meet the challenge. 

We intend to have the dramatization recorded so it can be made available to future Star Throwers.

The Midwest Theater in Scottsbluff, where we expect to have the initial performance, is doing renovations this coming fall and spring that were planned for earlier in the year. For this and other reasons, we are moving our presentation of The Star Thrower to spring 2023.
