Make this toxin free switch now

Happy Monday!

There are 2 things I consider to be super important when reducing toxins in and around you home.

First.. water filter!!

Why?

In a 3 year study by the Environmental Working Group, 20 million tap water samples were analyzed. A shocking number of 316 contaminants were found, including: weed killers, heavy metals, and antibiotics.

So what about buying plastic boiled water?

Many brands of bottled water are also contaminated! Unfortunately, drinking out of plastic is a source of hormone disruption, leading to many health issues.

What filter is the best?

Sadly, that filter on your fridge is not doing much, if anything.

Opt for a high quality filter and use stainless steel or glass to drink your water.

My favorite filter:

Aquatru! It's a tabletop Reverse Osmosis filter, and they also have an under the sink installation one too. They are currently having a sale so use this link to get almost half off their filters!

My other favorite filter:

Berkey: this filter is also great for filtering out most contaminants. Click this link for 10% off their filters. I personally use mine for traveling and camping.

So what's my second recommendation when starting to reduce toxins?

Air filter. We breathe around 11,000L of air/day!

Indoor air is on average 5-7x more toxic than outdoor air (due to common contaminants found in the home). It's also due to the air getting trapped and there's a constant recirculation of it.

Tip: open windows for 10 minutes twice/day.

Also invest in a high quality ultra HEPA air filter: my personal favorite is AirDoctor and they're also having a huge summer sale right now.

Use this link and you can get $300 off their products. I personally use the AD 3000.

I hope you found these tips helpful!
