Easy fall plant based dessert
Oct 06, 2021 1:26 am
Hi there,
Happy October!
I wanted to share one of my go-to recipes that's plant based, and salt/oil/sugar free.
I love sharing recipes and I've received tons of great feedback for this one!
Mini Apple Pies
RECIPE:
Apple sauce:
2 medium apples
6 medjool dates
1/4 cup raisins
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 test cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Apple filling:
4 medium apples
1 tbsp lemon juice
Crust:
1 1/4 cup oats
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
6 medjool dates
1 tbsp plant milk
METHOD:
First, preheat oven to 350F. Then combine the the crust ingredients in a food processor, and mold into stainless steel cupcake holders with the middle being slightly hollowed out. Bake for 12-13 minutes.
While that is baking, create the apple filling in one bowl by cutting the apples into small cubes and covering with lemon juice.
In a blender, blend all the applesauce ingredients. Place this blended filling over the apple filling in the bowl.
Place this mixture into the baked crust, and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

Sauna deal now through October!
Sunlighten has extended an amazing deal now through mid October! Use code DrPeacock for $200 off and free shipping.
I personally use the infrared sauna 4-5x/week! The benefits of regular sauna use allow for our body to eliminate heavy metals/toxins that we have accumulated from our environment. It also helps with circulation, mood, and decreasing inflammation in our body.
Speaking of detoxing..
One of the best ways to reduce our toxin exposure is by filtering our water. There are over 200 + contaminants in our water system, and not many filters effectively eliminate all of them.
This is why I love Berkey. This water filtration system efficiently filters out all those contaminant & toxins! Use code DRPEACOCK for 10% off your filtration system.
